No language can express the power and beauty and heroism of a mother’s love. – Edwin Chapin
Mothers, you are the most splendid of all creation and worth more than you will ever know. Isaiah 43:4, “You are precious in my eyes,” God says, “and I love you.” A mother’s love is more beautiful than any fresh flower. You are truly God’s hidden treasure. Your worth surpasses all earthly things because in the eyes of God you are loved and worth dying for.
When you read about the women in the Bible, Esther, Ruth, Martha and Mary, these women changed the world forever. Inside of you, each one of you as a “mother” has the same power and the same strength and capability of changing the world around you.
A mother is so pressured in this world; pressure to be the perfect mother; pressure to be the perfect wife; pressure in being successful. Moms, be at peace with the world; be kinder to yourself, be kinder to others.
Maybe you need to stop creating a to do list and rather create a to don’t list. What wouldn’t you do to extend those good night kisses instead of moaning to get up early in the morning?
It is simply about you as a human being, there is a most important word “being”. So, spend more time “being” and not “doing”. Precious mothers your life is worth fighting for. For the Lord says, “I see when things don’t go how you want them to go, I see every tear, and hear every prayer.” God cares for you, he knows your name. He knows your life and truly loves you.
Psalm 139:1
You are fearfully and wonderfully made.
