There is no glory for God in that which is humanly possible. Faith begins where man’s power ends. – George Muller

You and I likewise have the opportunity to experience the miraculous power of God before anything great will be accomplished for. In the murky waters, we lose focus and have missed out on a blessing that God has for us because we refused to launch out into the deep.

Perhaps it is because of fear, discouragement, or even failure in the past. Shallow waters become a comfort zone; the place where you feel safe. Peter had been fishing from early morning and had caught nothing. They were actually cleaning the nets.

We must be ready to leave the place of comfort, the familiar place that you know. There are enemies on the shore, and they are waiting for you to fail. Some will laugh, but rather risk their laugher to receive your blessing.

Jesus gets into Peter’s boat and asks him to launch out a bit deeper to let down his nets for a catch. Peter did not have to go; he was already mending his nets. Simon had to decide to obey the simple voice. Peter said, “Lord because you say so.” Only when we are obedient to God’s Word was Peter led to the abundance.

Jesus desires to step into your boat, if you will listen and act upon “one word” from the Maker, it has the potential to change everything.

Luke 5: 3–5
Jesus got into the boat belonging to Simon and asked him to put out a little from shore. And sitting down, he taught the people from the boat. When Jesus had finished speaking, he said to Simon, “Put out into deep water and let down your nets for a catch.” “Master,” Simon replied, “we have worked through the night without catching anything. But because you say so, I will let down the nets.”
