We forget how fragile life is. We wait for Christmas to give gifts. We wait for Valentine’s Day to show love to those we hold dear. We say to ourselves, today is just an ordinary day. So, we wait, and while we wait the clock ticks. Precious moments pass by. But in reality, there is no such thing as an ordinary day. – Author unknown

This day is not ordinary. This day may be one of quiet or chaos, challenge or rest. But no moment is ordinary. It may be familiar. It may be predictable. It may make you frustrated and angry, discouraged and sad. It may be one where you see hope, hope all around. It may be the day you see deeper, go further, and pursue a new place you’ve never travelled before.

Perhaps if I help to unfold it for you, there could be a point you can no longer see. It could be a point where there are obstacles and you feel there is nothing more you can do. I would like to encourage you by seeking the Lord in these times and allow him to take control and guide you.

There are the regular tasks to get done, the job to do, the responsibilities to complete. It may involve doing the same thing day after day, for a while, and another while.

The Lord says in his Word, that he will never leave you nor forsake you. For he alone knows the intake of your breath, the shape of your skin, the ideas taking place in your mind, the beat of your heart. You are a wonder, a beauty, and this day with all He has made, can never be an ordinary day.

Allow yourself to see with new eyes so you don’t miss the possibilities around you, so you don’t get discouraged. The Lord is always the same as you can count on him.

Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. Isaiah 43:19
