You get to decide where your time goes. You can either spend it moving forward, or you can spend it putting out fires. You decide. And if you don’t decide, others will decide for you. – Tony Morgan

This is your life and it is ending one minute at a time! When people tell you, I don’t have time, they are actually saying, I’m sorry it’s not important. You will make time for what is important. Priorities will make you have time. Focus on that which God has called you for. Lack of direction, not lack of time, is the problem. We all have twenty-four-hour days.

Each second and moment is precious, so use it wisely. People lose their capacity to walk, run, travel, think and experience life, because of time lost. Your future is created by what you do today, not tomorrow. We need to realise how very important it is to use the time we have. Lost time is never found again and cannot be recovered.

Don’t let the fear of the time it will take to accomplish something stand in the way of your doing it. The time will pass anyway; we might just as well put that passing time to the best possible use. The way we spend our time, really defines who we are. Even though we cannot do anything about how time flows, we can still control how we use it. “It’s not enough to be busy, so are the ants. The question is, what are we busy about?”

Some good advice: Time is the most valuable coin in your life. You and you alone will determine how that coin will be spent. Be careful that you do not let other people spend it for you.

“So, teach us to number our days that we may get a heart of wisdom …” Psalm 90:12
