Maybe today will be your big day and I hope that it is, but you don’t have to feel bad if it isn’t. Today doesn’t have to be perfect. It doesn’t have to be the day you change your life, the day you fix your problems, the day you start a new project, the day you heal, the day you win. Maybe today you can just be the day you get out of bed or the day you are kinder to yourself than you were yesterday.
Today doesn’t have to be everything. It just has to be today. It’s enough. It’s okay. There will be other days. There will be other chances. Until then, just enjoy this one as much as you can.
And then, learn how to live today.
To make the most of every opportunity means we treasure the moments we have now. A thought to remember is that God is in control. You see tomorrow doesn’t belong to us; it belongs to God. Help us Lord, to redeem the time. Help us to treasure our time, to make the most of every opportunity and to know what the Lord’s will is! Help us to have enough determination to make each day better than the day before.
Establish your priorities and learn how to live today. Remember we learn from yesterday and we can dream for tomorrow, but we need to live for today. If you are going to do it, then start it today because you might not have a tomorrow, and if you do you don’t know what it might hold. Today is your day!
