You may not see a lot of good in your life now, but don’t give up hope. Keep loving God, good things are coming that will help your life to glorify him.
How do you react when life crashes in on you? Trying to avoid a situation only makes matters worse. We end up even more frustrated, because nothing changes. We may even feel guilty for not being strong enough to deal with whatever thorn has gotten under our skin. Ultimately, we run ever farther away from the only one who can truly help us.
Our God is so much greater than anything we will face here on earth.
Maybe today you’re feeling buried by the trials and brokenness of your circumstance. Maybe you’re feeling defeated, like God has forgotten about you. Hear me when I say, he has not. I don’t know why God allows bad things to happen to good people, but I do know two things: God’s heart is breaking right along with yours. He hurts with you, and he knows your pain.
No matter what pain comes against you in this world, God has already redeemed it. There is beauty in the unknown, even when the unknown feels like your world is crashing down around you. Turn to the God of all comfort. Turn to the One who provides peace that passes all understanding.
Purpose means: The reasons for which something is done or created or for which something exists.
