The greatest gift you can give someone is your time because when you give your time, you are giving a portion of your life that you will never get back. – Anonymous
This is the beginning of a new day. God has given us to use this day as I will. I can waste it or use it for the good. What I do today is important, because I am exchanging a day of my life for it. When tomorrow comes, this day will be gone forever.
You are writing the story of your life one moment at a time. Realise that your time on earth is limited, so don’t waste time living someone else’s life. Time can be meaningless; unless it is of value and meaning. Do not let the noise of other people’s opinions drown out your inner voice. Rather have the courage to follow your heart. Each man’s life is but a breath. The Psalmist says, “Teach us to number our day aright, that we may gain a heart of wisdom”
(Psalm 90:20).
If we think of time wasted in gossiping or fruitless chatter, think about all the time wasted in worrying about things that eventually did not happen. So, to make the most of every opportunity means we are to reassure the moments we have now. Establish your priorities and learn how to live today.’ Time is like a river. You cannot touch the same water twice, because the flow that has passed will never pass again. Enjoy every moment in life.
Psalm 39: 4–5
Show me, O Lord, my life’s end and the number of my days; let me know how fl eeting my life is. You have made my days a mere handbreadth; the span of my years is as nothing before you.”
