About Christian Literature Fund

Our vision is to take the message of the Bible to all, in their own language

Christian Literature Fund was founded in 1957 by Dr Abraham Dekker and a group of faithful missionaries. Realising the gift of the gospel and finding that few people had access to it, Christian Literature Fund began to develop and distribute free Christian material amongst the different language and culture groups of South Africa and beyond.

We began printing a handful of free Christian pamphlets, and with the support of many South Africans over the years, we’ve been able to steadily grow our reach. Our pamphlets are relevant to today’s societal challenges and address topical themes based on scripture. They are used during outreaches and street ministry, in hospitals and clinics, in prisons, shared in workplaces, and on farms and in townships across Africa and distributed across the globe.

We’ve also developed a collection of over 250 affordable books to help people find their faith and grow spiritually. Our books are purchased directly from our webstore.

Christian Literature Fund has made an impact in many communities and with the support of many kind hearts from different parts of the world, we continue to work with those who need support the most.
