One must remember that one determined person can make a significant difference; and that a team of determined people can change the course of history. The word “determination” means the ability to continue trying to do something, although it is very difficult. The quality that you show; a setting purpose. A firm intention. When your mind is made up.
Always keep your passion and dreams alive; because everything you do will always leave a mark. One’s mistakes can always be corrected; stop striving for perfection. What God is looking for, however, is progress. Rather live worthy of your profession and hold your head up high. Hold yourself responsible for a higher standard than anyone expects of you.
We need to remember that without God we are nothing. What we can do is to positively influence, persuade and lead others. Jesus said, I never came to serve, but rather to be served.
C.S. Lewis wrote, “If only the will to walk is there – God is pleased with our stumbles.” Determination makes the difference!
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, don’t give up, be immovable; always abounding in the work of the Lord; knowing that your labour is not in vain. 1 Corinthians 15:58
