The most beautiful in the world are not seen nor touched; they are felt with the heart. – Helen Keller
Let there be kindness in your face, in your eyes, in your smile, in the warmth of your greeting. Don’t only give your care but give your heart as well. People are quick to criticise and judge, but if we judge people, then really, we can say, we have not time to love them.
People are illogical, unreasonable, and self-centred; you need to love them anyway. If you do well, people will accuse you of selfish ulterior motives, do well anyway. The good you do today will be forgotten, do good anyway.
It is not how much we do, but how much love we put in the doing. It is not how much we give, but how much love we put in the giving. We need to start looking beyond what people say or what we know about the person and to see the person the way God sees him or her. Let us love from the bottom of our heart and reach out to a hurting and broken world.
God’s love is so wide, it embraces everyone; it is so long-lasting, it will never let us go; it is of such a high-quality that it will never let us down; it is solid enough to bank your life on and deep enough to meet at your deepest needs. Friends, we are loved by God with an everlasting love. Even though we may reject His love, he will not let us go. His love stills his anger. But remember the great pain we cause him. May his love for us, may his pain over our sin, may these things make us love him more. May we know how great his love is and may we seek to show more love to him. Thank you, God, for loving me.
Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us. 1 John 4:7,11–12
